Are you working on something and you can’t seem to get the fit quite right?
Da da da DA da da daaaaaa! Fina to the rescue!
Come along to our brand new fit clinic. Bring the Offending Article/s (toiles, patterns as well as existing garments welcome).
Serefina (aka Fina Makes) is a pattern cutting and fit specialist with over 20 years fashion industry experience- in mens and womenswear, across daywear, eveningwear, stretch, tailoring, corsetry, outerwear…. pretty much whatever garment you can think of- including those pesky trousers!
We’ll start the evening by having a group chat about what everyone has brought, then each attendee will get personalised advice and attention on how to fix their individual fit-related woes.
This is an evening drop-in clinic, so please bring reasonable expectations of what can be achieved in that time- we’ve got a couple of hours together, so more complicated projects/adjustments will receive a step-by-step action plan that you can take away to complete your task at your leisure.
Bring a notepad- there aren’t handouts as the clinic is totally personalised to those who attend. We do have pattern paper, rulers and pattern masters on hand.
The group will be limited to 6 people, so you’ll get plenty of attention.

Specialising in fit, over the last 20 years Serefina has honed multiple skills in the fields of fashion & costume – working as a tailor and pattern cutter for luxury fashion and simultaneously as a corset maker and costume designer for cabaret, burlesque and drag.
For the past 8 years she has been passionately teaching her knowledge in pattern making and fit- both to individuals and to companies such as Harrods, Asos and Monsoon as well as start ups and small businesses.
In 2018 she was the pattern designer for Tilly and the Buttons and it was here that her love of sewing merged with digital and since then the self proclaimed ‘analogue girl’ has gone on to create Fina Makes; an online pattern cutting tutorial brand.
