Hat making workshop

Explore your inner milliner with the help of expert tutor Able Mabel – AKA Emily White.

Emily will help you design your perfect hat/fascinator.

You will learn how to cover a 11cm base with fabric, line it and work on embellishments. You will be shown various millinery techniques with feathers and veiling.

Ideal if you would like to create a co-ordinating hat to go with a special outfit.

We will provide all hat bases, combs, ribbon, trim, feathers, flowers and birdcage veiling – but feel free to bring your own base fabric if you would like your hat to match a particular outfit.

Basic hand sewing abilities required.
