Summer party!

We are holding a long awaited sewing meet up on Saturday 7^th August to give the sewists of the South West (and beyond) a chance to meet up, talk about our favourite hobby, stroke some lovely fabrics and show off our handmade finery.

Timings:

The shop will be open from 10am until 3pm 

Feel free to pop in for a bit or stay as long as you like!

Is there a theme?

Yes – the theme is ice cream! Take inspiration from your favourite desert and get creative with your outfit!

What if I don’t know anyone?

Come and make friends! Sewists are generally a very friendly bunch so come along and make some new friends with lots in common. We find fabric stroking to be a good ice breaker! There will be lots of people coming on their own, and all of our staff are super friendly so don’t feel shy!

Do I need to register?

Yes please, so we know how many people to expect. Tickets are free!

What safety measures will be in place?

We are still asking all our customers to wear masks and socially distance where possible. You may be asked to queue if there are too many people in the shop at once.
